Every leather handbag, shoe, and home accessory she creates is influenced by her fine arts background, and her love of textures, colors, and materials. A true artist, she is often inspired by her personal artwork and photography, local design and culture discovered on her global travel, as well as her studies in weaving, sculpture and fabric design. After just five short years in the fashion industry, her innovative design work was recognized in 2004 when she was awarded the Fashion Group International Rising Star Award.
Since the launch of barr + barr, Helen’s brand vision has extended from women’s luxury leather handbags and small accessories into home interior and textile design.
